Why Panchkarma?

Ayurveda is a holistic approach to life that emphasizes preventive measures to maintain health and well-being. Panchakarma is a significant preventive health tool bestowed upon us by Ayurveda. It serves as a comprehensive detoxification, relaxation and balancing therapy for both the mind and body. By undergoing Panchakarma, the body’s natural healing abilities are restored, and immunity is enhanced.

One significant advantage of Panchakarma is its ability to prevent LIFESTYLE diseases. Autoimmune diseases, hereditary diseases and certain cancers are triggered by lifestyle factors and aggravating elements. However, maintaining a healthy and clean body minimizes the likelihood of these diseases being triggered by any irritating or aggravating factor.

Therefore, let us embrace the ancient wisdom of our sages and incorporate Panchakarma into our lives.

What is Panchakarma?

Panchakarma is a comprehensive Ayurvedic treatment that involves five purification procedures and five strengthening procedures. The term "Panchakarma" is derived from the Sanskrit words "pancha," meaning five, and "karma," meaning procedures.

The five purification procedures are:

Virechan: Purgation

Basti: Medicated enemas

Nasya: Nasal administration of medication

Raktamokshan: Bloodletting

The five purification procedures are:

Snehan: Oleation

Swedan: Sudation

Achieve Balance and Vitality with Panchakarma Therapies

Panchakarma is a highly effective treatment for a wide range of health conditions, including stress, anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, skin conditions, and chronic pain.

Nasya and Basti are included in both the Karmas because, depending on the oil, ghee, or kadha used in these procedures, they either purify or strengthen the body.
